Evangelism   1 comment

Bishop Dag Heward-Mills once said simply, ‘I love evangelism.‘ Evangelism, soul winning, preaching the gospel, the great commission, however, you want to call it – I love it too. To me, it’s so important to tell people about Jesus Christ and to lead them to the Lord. He loves us, that only He can save us, and that He is frankly the best thing going in life. better than Tupac, better than Manchester United, better than EastEnders – Jesus Christ will never die and never fail you!

Skip to the bottom of the page for some evangelism tools, resources, and inspiration. I will be adding more things I find every now and again…

Everyone Needs To Know About Jesus

For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?
Romans 8:13-14

I’m thrilled when I have the opportunity to preach about Jesus Christ! – Shepherds Bush, March 2010

This scripture summarises evangelism to me. How else are people going to know and believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to God and His love if we the Christians don’t tell people? John 3:16 says ‘For God so loved the world‘ – the whole world needs to know that the truth is only in the Holy Bible, that there is a hell we can go to if we don’t come to God, and that Jesus is the route to God because of His sacrifice on the cross.

I’ve made this little page to inspire and help you go somewhere and win souls for Christ. My friend, you have to bring at least a soul to heaven with you. If you are capable of finding my blog, then I believe you are more than equipped to save someone’s soul from hell!

What can you do to win a soul for Jesus? What can you do to save someone from having to go to hell? You need to use whatever way you can to win the lost at cost. Incredible servants of the Lord like Bishop Dag Heward-Mills (founder of the Healing Jesus Crusade) and Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke can hold massive crusades and win thousands to Christ. I can hand out tracts in the street and preach with a megaphone in London. What can you do? Nothing is too big or too small – every Christian must do their part and preach the gospel.

Giving tracts, sharing the gospel with people at work, preaching in the streets, preaching on buses, starting a Christian union in school, wearing an evangelistic t-shirt, bringing people to your church, being a good Christian example… however you can do it, whatever it takes to win them, whatever God inspires you to do, give it a try! No form of evangelism is too small – the gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of salvation. As long as you give your best shot, no evangelistic effort is in vain. Try to win a soul! After all, someone won your soul.

I pray something on this page will assist and inspire you in your own evangelism, and that they will result in the salvation of many, in Jesus’ name. Amen. 🙂

Evangelism Videos

Here are some inspiring and intriguing videos on evangelism that I like watching. (Yes, even the ones with me in it.) Hope they encourage you to tell somebody about the Lord.

My Evangelism Story on The Richie Rich Show
This is a two-part feature on my first five years of street evangelism, between 2009 and 2014. It has photos and video clips of evangelism around London, and lots of tips for evangelism, inspirational evangelists like AA Allen and Aimee Semple McPherson, and more. This is a loaded exposé on my life with preaching for Jesus and I think you will be encouraged by watching it!

Singing for Jesus in Marble Arch
Jonathan and I are The Grapes – A duet singing and playing for Jesus! This is probably our greatest adventure, ministering in the West of London. This clip has us singing For All You’ve Done by Hillsong Live.

Preaching on a Bus in London
This is a video of me preaching on a bus. (Surprise?) I put this video up to show practically how you can preach on a bus or any other public transport, if you don’t know where to start or what to say. I also put it up to inspire you to do some for yourself. You can save a life from hell by preaching on a bus. Will you stand up?

Manic Street Preacher – Sinner Winner
Philip Howard is a notorious street preacher in London. One day I was with a friend in McDonald’s when a customer spotted my JESUS IS LORD shirt and cap and came to talk to us. He told us a bit about his Christian life, and referenced a ‘sinner winner street preacher guy’. I decided to look him up and among other things, found this video. Very interesting!
